Mt.Inari hiking
You can try to hike Mt.Inari ,if you are good health.
But,there are some risks. If you choose wrong way,you will lost your way back.
In fact, it takes about 2 hours,round-trip!And you could be encounter some ferocious wild animals.
So I have tryed to go to Yotsutsuji on that day.Because I can see beatifull seeing at the place, and it takes only 1 hour,round-trip.
Google Map's "Yotsuji" is typo. Correctly,that is"Yotsutsuji".

This is where we enter Mt.Inari.

Watch your step! There is a step that is difficult to see.
It's a descending staircase.

↓When you turn around, it looks like this.

As you proceed, you will arrive at a three-way intersection.
People are gathered in front of the signboard.
Turn right to go to Mt.Inari.

When comparing Google Maps and the signboard, the following differences can be seen.

There is a well-maintained restroom.
Since there aren't many people in line, you can use it after a short wait.

We keep moving forward. We're still in the early stages.

The most luxurious torii here was built by a major Japanese television company (Asahi TV).
The name of a Japanese company is written on the back of the torii.
This is because Fushimi Inari Taisha is believed to bring good fortune in business.
Walking through the mountain, while feeling the nature around us.

After walking for a while, you will find a restaurant.
You can buy items and take a break. There are no restrooms or trash bins.
Turn left to ascend the mountain. There is a signboard made of stone.

The mountain climbing resumes again.

After walking for a while, an unhelpful signboard appears.
Here, you need to pay attention to the top of the signboard, not the bottom.
The bottom refers to the three-way intersection you have already passed.

Turn right and continue climbing up.

From here, you can get a panoramic view of the southern part of Kyoto City.
It's just a little more to Yotsutsuji (四ツ辻)! Let's keep going!

We have arrived at Yotsutsuji.
Here too, people are gathered in front of the signboard.

There is also a restaurant.
Since many people are tired by this point, the shop is bustling with many customers.

The view from Yotsutsuji.

Yotsutsuji means 'crossroad.'
In addition to the path you have climbed, three other paths extend from here.

It says that it takes 20 minutes to reach the summit.
However, keep in mind that a round trip will take 40 minutes.

Some people continue toward the summit, but I decide to turn back here.
As I descend the stairs, I notice that the tourists near Yotsutsuji look exhausted.
Everyone has used up quite a bit of energy by the time they reach this point.
On this day, I climbed from Senbon Torii to Yotsutsuji in 25 minutes one way.
Presumably, men and women in their 40s or 50s can complete the climb in about 30 to 35 minutes.

Be careful of your footing on the way back,
as steep stairs continue.
Returning to the starting point brings a sense of relief.
I'm back!

Rest areas on the way back.

We take the back approach on the way down.
Restaurants and souvenir shops line the path.
The recommended choice is not the street stalls, but the more reliable standalone shops.

Among the shops in this photo, some sell grilled whole sparrow.
If you have the courage, you can try it for 4 US dollars.

I'm back.
Since I walked alone without stopping at any shops,
I made it back in 90 minutes.
Today's journey ends here.
Next, I will introduce Tōfuku-ji, a temple near Fushimi Inari.
Stay tuned!
